I always liked how “natural” the kick drum sounded on that album.

and I think I’m the only person I know who really likes the Sabbath albums with Tony Martin on vocals.

Really, I just haven’t gotten around to them yet. I do have to say the Dio albums have a couple of flat spots that mostly aren’t easily identified in, say, Sabotage and others, but the high points, my word. Mob Rules e.g.
is a stone cold killer.

well, they’ve been out since ‘87, ‘88, and ‘90 so you’ve got plenty of time :p
That said, Headless Cross is the strongest of them, followed by Cross Purposes and TYR.
I saw them when they were touring for Cross Purposes and Forbidden in the mid ‘90s.
